Bangkok is the Best City in Southeast Asia, Report Says
Bangkok was named as the best city in Southeast Asia, according to a report by online publication Travel + Leisure. Singapore and Danang came in second and third.
The travel website cited Michelin-starred cuisine, diverse restaurants, great hotels, hot drinking establishments, and “warm smiles” of Thai nationals as some of the reasons why Bangkok took the first spot.
Neighbouring cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, Saigon, Phnom Penh, and Jakarta also made it to Travel + Leisure’s “Asia’s Best Awards 2022: Top 10 Cities in Southeast Asia.”
“Asia’s Best Awards” is a fan-voted awards platform, which aims to recognise the top players in Southeast Asia for their contribution to the hospitality industry.
