The Bangkok Mass Transit System or BTS Skytrain is appealing to passengers with long hair to avoid flicking their locks, especially during rush hour when the train is crowded.
The advice is in response to messages and concerns regarding passengers with long hair tied in a ponytail who may accidentally hit the face of other passengers or have their strands get into other’s eyes or mouth.
The admin encourages passengers with long hair to hold the ends of their hair when facing or walking past others. The public advisory aims to maintain a good atmosphere when travelling on public transport by practising good social etiquette and always being considerate to others.
