Vive La Thailand: France’s Ligue 1 to Hold Trophée des Champions in Bangkok
France will bring French football to Thailand, as the Trophée des Champions makes its way to Bangkok. The Rajamangala Stadium will host the match on Aug. 5.

The first-ever “Vijit Chao Phraya” lights show has officially opened to the public on Saturday, Nov. 12, at six landmark locations along Chao Phraya River. Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), along with public and private sector partners, the night-time illumination is taking place until Nov. 27 to create a colourful and exciting ambiance for the famous waterway.
“This is the most extravagant light-up event of its kind along the Chao Phraya River, and it is certainly not to be missed as it promises to amaze and delight. With this initiative, we are welcoming high season tourists back to Bangkok and a Thailand that is now fully reopened to international tourism, and also APEC leaders and delegates attending the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week or AELW during 14-19 November 2022,” Minister of Tourism and Sports H.E. Phipat Ratchakitprakarn said in a TAT press release.

Rama VIII Bridge – 7 PM to 9:30 PM, every 30 minutes
Wichai Prasit Fort – 7:15 PM to 9:45 PM, every 30 minutes
Wat Kalayanamit – 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:30 PM
Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge (Memorial Bridge) – 7:15 PM to 9:45 PM, every 30 minutes
River City Bangkok – 7 PM to 9:30 PM, every 30 minutes
ICONSIAM – 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM, every hour
