SEA Games Update: Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn Wins Gold in Men’s Badminton Singles

During the final match of the men's singles badminton competition at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn defeated Singapore's Loh Kean Yew to take home the gold medal.

The second game was held at the Bac Giang Gymnasium on Sunday (May 22), Kunlavut led the match with a score of 21-13, 21-13. Kunlavut is a three-time world junior champion and the world's number 18 player.

Kunlavut also defeated Singapore’s Jason Teh during the semi-finals on May 21.

As of writing, Thailand holds 329 medals, including 93 gold, 100 silver, and 136 bronze.
