Wanna Know a Secret? Five of the Best Hidden Bars to Visit in Bangkok ASAP

Ever wonder why there are bars that have no signs or are located in secluded areas or buildings? These hidden or secret bars are built for people who love to have a good drink in a laidback atmosphere. What’s more, they have signature drinks mixed with creativity and unique combinations, as well as a special menu.
This is why locals often prefer to track down well-known "secret" bars rather than popular bars that are too crowded. Tucked away in small alleys or underground spots, here are some hidden bars you can check out in Bangkok.
Ku Bar
Ku Bar is one of the hidden bars in Bangkok along the quiet side street of Phra Sumen Road. You can find this bar when you enter the Phra Phum Shrine and go upstairs to the third floor.
Hidden behind a massive wooden door, in what was formerly a printing house, is a mysterious tavern with an old town atmosphere. The bar is enveloped in a dark interior and decorated in a raw style, featuring a long marble bar in the middle of the restaurant.
Patrons at Ku Bar must be 21 or older to enter. Due to limited seating space, guests that come in groups of more than six people must first make a reservation.
Ku Bar’s recommended drinks are lychee cocktail, roasted corn cocktail mixed, and homemade soy/black sesame milk cocktail. The bar is open from 7 PM to 12 AM.
Location: 3rd Floor, 469 Phra Sumen Road, Phra Nakhon District
Find The Locker Room
Find The Locker Room is one of the must-visit hidden bars in Bangkok because of its Time Capsule concept menu. This hidden bar has been open for five years, and they recently updated their menu to introduce nine new cocktails that pay homage to the fashion, toys, and music during the 1960s to 1980s.
They offer this sweet and creamy Strawberry Fields cocktail (THB490) named after John Lennon's childhood song that was popular in the 1960s. We also recommend their Who wears short shorts? Cocktail (THB460) that comes in three colours such as orange, green, and red. The women's fashion of the 1970s served as inspiration for this cocktail.
The drink known as "Magic F8" (THB460) is the bar's take on the 1980s and is inspired by a famous toy known as the "Magic 8 Ball" or "prediction ball." Each glass is mixed with a paper made of waffle, Edgerum, Chao Kuay, Milk Punch, Jasmine, Coconut Rice Syrup, and topped with Anchan Pandan Jelly.
The bar is open daily from 6 PM to 12:30 AM.
Location: 406 Thong Lo Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana

On the menu, you'll find cured meat (THB220-THB550), artisan cheese (THB300-THB480), mixed olives (THB120), and more.
