Restaurants in Bangkok That Offer Special CNY 2023 Promos and Menus

As we are getting closer to the celebration of Chinese New Year (CNY) 2023, also called the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit, dragon dances, temple fairs, and market shopping now abound. Of course, food is a significant part of this traditional celebration, so it would be a shame to skip all the delicious treats.

Gather your friends and whole family, as we’ve listed four restaurants in Bangkok to keep you updated with the latest dining promos and menus this CNY 2023. Each restaurant has provided a specially curated menu for you to feast on. Xin Ni Huad Chai, everyone!

Pagoda

Pagoda is an upscale Chinese restaurant in Bangkok that specialises in using century-old cooking techniques. It is known for serving authentic Cantonese cuisine made with high-quality ingredients in Thailand, while some spices and seasonings are sourced from Hong Kong and China.

Some of its famous delicacies are dim sum, steamed dumplings, prawn spring rolls, pork buns, sticky barbecued pork, and a selection of premium Chinese teas, among others.

In line with the Chinese New Year celebration for 2023, Pagoda will offer a special menu including Spring Festival Delights (THB388 per dish), Yung Sheng Celebrations (THB1,288 per sharing dish), and Spring Festival Set (THB43,888 per set for a minimum of 8 persons). The Silk Road

The Silk Road is a classic Cantonese restaurant in Bangkok with a “modern flair.” Boasting Art Deco style popularised in Shanghai, the restaurant is embellished with modern artworks, plum-coloured wooden doors and cabinets, and glass screens with gold tracery. Its floor is built with marble mosaic, exuding a stylish retro ambience and elegance. Thus, it is a sophisticated place to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Rabbit.

To make festivities even more delightful, The Silk Road has exclusive menu offerings that include a six- and eight-course menu (THB2,888-THB24,888) suitable for individual serving and sharing by up to 10 people. Seasonal Tastes @The Westin Grande Hotel

Seasonal Tastes is located in The Westin Grande hotel in downtown Bangkok, which offers “high-in-the-sky hospitality.” The five-star hotel is conveniently located close to shopping malls and the city’s skytrain system.

As CNY 2023 approaches, check out Seasonal Tastes’ special dining offer: the Chinese New Year Buffet for Lunch and Dinner menu (THB2,070 per person). It also comes in Family Packages with a free special meal that can serve up to eight adults, while children between 0 and 12 years old are free of charge. Prices range from THB8,282 to THB16,564.

Shangri-La Bangkok

Known for its luxury hospitality, Shangri-La Bangkok won’t miss the chance to treat its guests to unique CNY offerings featuring extensive dining choices. The Shang Palace offers steamed Longevity Peach Buns (THB1,188) filled with sweet cream. These buns, which are part of Chinese tradition, would make wonderful presents for your dear friends, family members, or even business acquaintances.

Each box contains nine pieces of buns available for delivery or self pick-up with a three-day advance notice. You can get these fluffy peach buns until March 31.

Those obsessed with chocolate should try this Chocolate Afternoon set (THB1,999) created by executive pastry chef Alex Hekimov. This special promo is part of Shangri-La’s “Rooted in Nature” project to support the local community and promote sustainable food.
