As health and safety restrictions are starting to relax in Thailand, more event organizers are planning and continuing their postponed plans before the first half of the year ends. Whether you’re into travel and sports activities or into conventions, check out the following events that will take place in Thailand this June and July.
Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2022
When: June 8 to 10
Where: Angsana Laguna Phuket, Phuket (Google Maps)
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced last month that the “Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2022 (TTM+ 2022): Visit Thailand Year 2022, Amazing New Chapters” will make its return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. TTM+ is a significant annual B2B travel event in Thailand that attracts local and international tourism industries, providing them with a platform to meet with current and potential business partners.
This year’s theme will focus on environmental initiatives, including pre- and post-tour programs, that promote the reduction of single-use plastics and other plastic waste. For more information, you can visit their official website.
Laguna Phuket Marathon 2022
When: June 11 to 12 (from 4 PM to 6:30 PM)
Where: 390/1 Moo1 Srisoonthorn Road, Cherngtalay, Talang, Phuket 83110 (Google Maps)
SUPERSPORTS’ Laguna Phuket Marathon, which was postponed last year due to the pandemic, will finally happen this June 2022. In response to the anticipated increase of participants, the event will take place in two days: June 11 will have the 2 km Kids Run, 5 km Run, and 10.5 km Run, while June 12 will have the Marathon (42.195 km), Marathon Relay (42.195 km), and Half Marathon (21.0975 km) events. Registration is open until June 5.
Laguna Phuket Marathon is certified by the World Athletics’ Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and is the qualifying event for the Boston Marathon. For more details, visit their official website or Facebook page.
Thailand International Dog Show 2022
When: June 30 to July 3 (from 10 AM to 8 PM)

The 20th edition of SmartHeart’s Thailand International Dog Show (TIDS 2022) prides itself as the largest and only dedicated dog care exhibition in ASEAN, which showcases over 200 local and international exhibitors of the latest dog care products, food, apparel, and many more.

Smart SME Expo 2022

The 8th Smart SME Expo 2022 is one of the biggest business expos in Thailand dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and franchise businesses. Organized by PMG Corporation and other agencies, it’s a great place for individuals finding business opportunities and entrepreneurs looking for investors and funding from various financial institutions.
