Nightlife Bangkok: yama 'thanks for waiting' Asia Tour, Plus 9 More Events

Another weekend in Thailand is upon us and this spells for a jam-packed schedule of concerts and gigs, happy hour and cocktail nights, fresh raves, and club nights you must not miss. We saved you the stress of planning your weekend and week ahead with our rundown of the best nightlife events.

1. Escobar KohTao - Paradise Party

    Rally the crew and get ready for a December to remember! The hottest and biggest party in Koh Tao will be pumping out beats helmed by international DJs spinning everything from tech house to hip-hop and R&B pop beats.

    The sonic feast doesn’t stop there! A spectacular fire show is set to further ignite the night and take the party to a whole new level. The Paradise Party will also be throwing in a rodeo night with a wild mechanical bull ride.

    In case you need a breather from tearing up the dance floor, the party has dedicated treehouses where revellers can chill and relax.

    2. Young K Solo Concert 'Letters with notes' in Bangkok

      DAY6’s Young K is about to make your Saturday memorable as he will take you on a musical journey with his solo concert “Letters with notes” in Bangkok. The concert is a celebration of Young K’s return to the kingdom after finishing his mandatory military enlistment.

      Get ready to be serenaded under the city lights with a soulful symphony of tunes from his latest full-length album. This includes tracks like “nothing but,” “let it be summer,” and “natural,” to name a few.

        Here’s another epic bash in Thailand to add to your calendar this month! This shindig will showcase signature sounds of deep, minimal, and groovy tech helmed by French artist and founder of Groovytude Records, Baccus. To complete the party squad, he will be joined by incredible talents including Mo-Funk, Luke July, and Huff.

        After the beats drop, they’ll be taking the party vibes to a whole new level with an afterparty near the pier in the Silom area. Admission to the afterparty is a steal at just THB431.66.

          Comprising siblings Pitchaya "Golf” Nithipaisankul and Pirat "Mike" Nithipaisankul, Golf-Mike came into the music scene in 2005 and brought an eclectic mix of Thai pop, J-Pop, dance-pop, hip-hop, and R&B hits that we couldn't get enough of.

          8. Maho Rasop Festival

          This year’s Maho Rasop will feature two nights of unparalleled clubbing experience with a wild mix of pop, indie rock, punk, jazz, club, and underground sounds. This epic music fest all started in the legendary Boiler Room where the city’s local independents teamed up with several international artists.

          The lineup features over 30 top-notch artists and more than 10 exciting activities to keep the good times rolling. Some of the artists who will hit the stage include IDLES, Caspian, SANDY Alex G, Zweed N Roll, Yard Act, Kamaal Williams, Mildlife, おとぼけビ~バ~ - Otoboke Beaver, and more.

          9. yama 1st Asia Tour 'thanks for waiting'

          J-Pop rising star yama will bring their 1st Asia tour “thanks for waiting" to Bangkok this Sunday. Since debuting in 2020, yama has been making waves with their "feminine" voice that's captured the hearts of fans far and wide. Although yama's gender pronouns are kept under wraps, it adds an extra layer of intrigue to their already mesmerising persona.

          Their breakout single “Haru wo Tsugeru" took the world by storm, racking up over 130 million streams on YouTube. Other popular tracks by yama include “Oz.,” “麻痺 (Mahi),” ”a.m.3:21,” “MoonWalker,” and more.
