Despite the headwinds brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economy was able to build a strong post-pandemic recovery effort that paved the way for a number of big events like concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and business expos to slowly get back to normal.

After more than two years of hibernation, Thailand is now on track to bring in more events, open to fully vaccinated individuals including international tourists. DigiTech ASEAN Thailand 2022

DigiTech ASEAN is a business event in Bangkok that invites the global tech and digital community for a face-to-face exhibition and networking opportunity. It aims to reconnect and partner with businesses in the IT sector and online markets.

The event will tackle the latest tech and digital trends, to name a few, including business software, artificial intelligence, cyber security, e-commerce and digital marketing, data and cloud, smart solutions and IoT, and 5G technology. More than 5,000 local and international attendees from the areas of agriculture, automotive, banking and finance, e-commerce, and manufacturing are expected to attend.

APEC Economic Leader’s Week

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is an annual economic forum that involves economies across the Asia-Pacific regions. It prioritises the region’s economic well-being by steering economic integration toward a “non-legally binding manner and friendly environment.”

The APEC 2022 will be hosted by Thailand to introduce new insights in line with the organisation’s theme “OPEN, CONNECT and BALANCE.” This implies being open to all opportunities, connecting across dimensions, and balancing every aspect. The conference will talk about digital technology, environmental concerns, international travel, and trade and investment facilitation.

Recycled Energy Asia 2022

Recycled Energy Asia 2022 is a business event in Bangkok that will address “the commercial development of regional agricultural biomass exports and carbonization (particularly in industrial boilers), as well as regional waste management and decarbonization through waste to energy prospects, supply chain and technology assessments.”

Regional industry experts from the biomass, waste, and energy sectors are expected to attend the event. Issues related to PKS availability and sustainability, waste management, PPP business models, technology, and funding will be tackled during the panel discussion.

Smart City Expo

Smart City Expo in Thailand is a hybrid business event that will focus on ASEAN innovation including the Land of Smiles. The exhibition will present the “Thailand 4.0 Economic Model” designed to target the right investors toward transforming the Thai economy to become a smart city.

There will be around 5,000 participants present at the event including professionals from different industries who will share their insights about networking and innovation.
