Living in a Post-Pandemic World: Where to Find Co-Working Spaces in Bangkok

The pandemic has made remote work an even more attractive idea especially for those who want to ditch the four corners of their traditional office spaces in exchange for a more flexible set-up. Whether it is hybrid or 100% work-from-home, remote work is here to stay. As landlords of lofty office buildings scramble to retain their clients, co-working spaces are taking advantage of increased demand from 9-5 employees who want a break from their routines at home or on-the-go entrepreneurs meeting with clients. In this article, we scoured the web to look for the best co-working spaces in Bangkok for your hustling needs. Check them out!

The Urban Office

Potted plants dot The Urban Office on Sukhumvit Road, complementing the space’s industrial-inspired set-up. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows ensure the flow of natural light while keeping the tenant’s privacy. You can rent a space in free seating for five days (THB2,200), 10 days (THB3,800), or 15 days (THB5,200). That includes complimentary meeting room usage, with additional varying features depending on your plan. But if you want a dedicated space, you can book The Citizen plan for THB6,500, good for 30 days.

WorkWize

WorkWize’s facilities include a mini kitchen, lockers, a nap room, a pool table, and relaxation corners. You can avail of their dedicated desk plan for privacy, or the co-working space if you do not mind hearing some chatter from fellow remote workers. They also have meeting, seminar, and serviced office rooms, which are all well-furnished and airconditioned. If you have decided to stay outside the city but want a company address in Bangkok, you can avail of WorkWize’s virtual office starting at THB900 per month. That includes a secretary who can receive your calls and letters.

Glowfish

Founded in 2010, Glowfish is one of the household names in Bangkok when it comes to co-working space. They follow the concept of “work, play, and grow” to encourage productivity and a collaborative environment through modern design. Their shared workspace plan incudes a hot desk, an access key card, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary coffee and tea. There are also breakout areas and scanning and printing services. A one-month plan costs THB12,000, but if you are looking for a longer-term lease, go for their 12-month package at THB10,000.

Ko Kreate Space

Ko Kreate Space ditches the traditional office design by employing barrier-free work desks. The wood poles all throughout the area add a rustic vibe, while inviting collaboration and camaraderie by doing away with empty white walls. Amenities include high-speed internet, coffee, office supplies, printing and front desk services, and security. There is also a wide parking space if you are bringing your car. The daily rate for a shared desk is THB300.

The Hive Bangkok

From their first branch in Hong Kong in 2012, The Hive has expanded footprints to about 20 locations across the Asia Pacific region. Their flagship location in Bangkok is at Piman 49 and occupies seven floors. The scenic rooftop café and lounge offers a welcome respite after hours of hustling, providing some fresh air while you sip coffee from the nearby café. The Hive Bangkok’s co-working plans are: Hot Desk, a shared space that starts at THB4,000 for part-time (9 AM to 6 PM) and THB5,000 for full-time (24/7); Dedicated Desk, your own space with longer meeting room credits for THB6,000 to THB18,000 depending on the number of pax; and Private Office, which starts at THB27,000 for 12 hours of meeting room credits.
