While we all missed traveling and exploring the world outside our homes, staying indoors with a cozy blanket and a nice movie in tow never gets old. For the month of April, Netflix is gifting us with an exciting line-up of new series and movies to binge during the weekend. From an existential show with an anti-hero lead to a home organization escapade, here are the new titles worth checking out this month!
‘Russian Doll’ Season 2
After three years of waiting, Natasha Lyonne is reprising her role as our favorite anti-hero Nadia in this comedy-drama TV series. The second season is set four years after Nadia escaped death in a time loop and explores a deep dive into her and Alan’s past. Is the fate that awaits her even worse than going through timeless deaths? Catch this Emmy-winning show as it resurrects its dark humor and sci-fi antics.

‘The Bubble’
What happens if you are trapped in a closed set for a movie while a pandemic is raging in the outside world? This meta comedy answers that and more with a plot inspired by no less than the COVID-19 pandemic. While shooting a film about flying dinosaurs, the actors find themselves stuck in a bubble hotel while trying to dodge the virus. With swabs, face shields, and PPEs all over, this movie is too close to home.

‘Get Organized With The Home Edit’ Season 2
Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin of professional home organization company The Home Edit are back with another season, transforming the lives of their clients using their signature interior styling and humor. The season is peppered with bigger makeover projects and a slew of celebrity clients like Drew Barrymore, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt, Winnie Harlow, Lauren Conrad, Kelsea Ballerini, Danielle Brooks, Tyler Hubbard, Topper Guild, and Kevin Hart.

‘The Ultimatum: Marry Me or Move on’
This social experiment follows six couples, where one partner is ready to get married while the other is not. The partners ready to walk down the aisle issue an ultimatum to their counterpart, forcing them to make a decision whether to get married or move on. As if that does not already sound complicated, the participants are also given a chance to choose a new partner over the course of eight weeks. If you are into reality shows, “The Ultimatum” is your cup of tea.

‘Ultraman’ Season 2
The long-awaited international release of the second season of “Ultraman” will surely delight fans of the hit Japanese anime based on the works of Tsuburaya Productions, Eiichi Shimizu, and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. It puts the spotlight on the son of Ultraman, Shinjiro Hayata, and the six heroes (Ultraman, Seven, Ace, Zoffy, Jack, and Taro) who continue the tradition of the legendary six Ultra Brothers as they face “aliens on a cosmic scale.”
