New HK$5000 Consumption Vouchers for Hong Kong Given Out in April 2023
Consumptions vouchers worth HK$5000 will be given to Hong Kongers in two batches to revitalise the economy, Financial Secretary Paul Chan announced.

The government announced the city-wide achievement of half the territory’s eligible population receiving their COVID-19 booster vaccine.
As of today, about 3.38 million people have received their third vaccine dose, accounting for more than 50% of the city’s population aged 12 or above.
Secretary for the Civil Service Patrick Nip told the press that approximately one million people who are due to receive their third dose have yet to make plans to do so.
He urged the public to get vaccinated on time and in accordance with expert advice.
“We need the proactive response from every member of the public in boosting the vaccination rate together and building a stronger protective barrier to cope with the future risks brought about by the potential emergence of new mutant strains,” Mr. Nip said in yesterday’s (May 12).
