COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Station to Launch on Dec. 3 to Encourage Elderly to Get Jab
The Hong Kong government will be launching the COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Station on Dec. 3 to encourage the public, particularly the elderly, to get their COVID-19 jab conveniently and efficiently.
According to a government press release on Nov. 27, the mobile station will first provide its services to residents of Sun Chui Estate in Sha Tin. The process of receiving one's vaccination from the mobile station is the same as that in Community Vaccination Centers, with temporary waiting and resting areas beside the station, as well as free consultation services.
Only one type of COVID-19 vaccine will be provided at the mobile station. It will operate from 10 AM to 5 PM, with the last onsite registration time at 4:30 PM.
Enquiries and bookings may be made by calling 5193 0375, although walk-in services at the station are available for eligible persons.
