Four New Vaccine Stations Open for Boosting City Rate

Four new COVID-19 vaccine stations at Lai Chi Kok Park, Tuen Mun, Quarry Bay, and Central will be set up next Friday (Sept. 30) to provide greater coverage for vaccine services to the public in order to boost the city’s third dose rate.

In a press statement released by the government today, the Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool will provide Sinovac vaccination services to people six months and above from 9 AM to 6 PM daily starting Sept. 30.

Three new private vaccine stations in Tuen Mun, Quarry Bay, and Central will be providing Sinovac vaccination for people aged six months or above, and Pfizer vaccines for people aged 12 years old and above.

Online reservations can be made for all four new stations starting from 9 AM tomorrow (Sept. 23). People aged 60 or above may collect a same-day ticket for vaccination without booking a prior appointment.

The statement also reported that the government are planning to set up additional community vaccination services in Wong Tai Sin, North Point, and Yuen Long after the Lai Chi Kok station begins operation.
