Five Overseas Films Await Audience in 'Summer Family Screen' This August

Five overseas films are in store for the public in the "Summer Family Screen" this Aug. 6-14 at the Theatre of Hong Kong City Hall and the Cinema of the Hong Kong Film Archive, a government press release said on June 8.

A programme by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's (LCSD) Film Programmes Office, "Summer Family Screen" stands as one of the highlights of Hong Kong's International Arts Carnival.

The award-winning films that will be screened include French film "The Fantastic Journey of Margot & Marguerite" (2020), stop-motion animation "Even Mice Belong in Heaven" (2021), German children's book adaptation "Laura's Star" (2021), and adventure films "Felix and the Treasure of Morgäa" (2021) and "Rabbit Academy — Mission: Eggpossible" (2022).

All the films will have Chinese and English subtitles. Those interested in watching the films can purchase tickets at URBTIX, with each ticket priced at HK$70.

On the days of the event, all attendees are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" venue QR code with their mobile phones before entering the premises.
