Fashion Farm Foundation Brings 8 Hong-Kong Based Designers to Paris

Non-profit organisation Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF) brought eight talented Hong Kong-based designers to France for the Paris Fashion Week held from Sept. 26 to Oct. 4.

Designers showcasing their work include Celine Kwan, SWEETLIMEJUICE, Christian Stone, CODA, Rickyy Wong Studio, and VANN. To show their support for the local artists and the city’s fashion industry, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Brussels supported a fashion networking event organised by the FFF in Paris on Sept. 28, according to a government press release.

The FFF is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 by fashion entrepreneurs and fashion educators in Hong Kong to promote local fashion on a global scale. It aims to build synergy with Hong Kong-based fashion designers, practitioners, experts, and retailers.

The event was attended by approximately 250 guests from the fashion industry including editors, buyers, students, and designers.

Grace Li, deputy representative of HKETO in Brussels, said Hong Kong is an open, vibrant and cosmopolitan market that has established an innovative fashion industry. Young and talented Hong Kong designers have been creative with their own brands, imaginative concepts, and skills to the market. She also remarked that Hong Kong designers excelled and adapted well in this extremely competitive business, especially with the emergence of new technology and calls for sustainability in apparel production.

"As we can see from the sample collections here today, designers' creations are full of audacity and contemporary flair, showing superb tailoring and craftmanship," she said.
