Sonic Aviators Record Fair Set for This Weekend at The Wanch

Hosted by revived live indie performance venue The Wanch with support from Brooklyn Beer, local music appreciation group Sonic Aviators presents the autumn Sonic Aviators Record Fair for seasoned vinyl lovers and those looking to begin building their collection.

On sale are both used and unopened vinyl records, with selections of rare finds with a particular emphasis on the blues, classic rock, funk, metal, Motown, reggae, rockabilly, and ska genres. Fairgoers can also bring along their pre-loved records to sell off or swap at the location upon registering here.

In the streaming era where limitless music of all genres from any time period is easily retrievable by anyone with access to the internet, it seems an excess of choice has led music lovers to turn back to curating their listening through old-school analogue formats. The Sonic Aviators group aims to encourage audio appreciation amongst general audiences through hosting a variety of themed sharing and listening parties alongside dedicated music programmes.

Visit The Wanch this weekend (Oct. 8-9) between 2 PM and 6 PM to get your hands on what might just be your next favourite album. The bar will be offering happy hour from 3 PM to 8 PM as well.
