The coming late October in Hong Kong will be filled with great merrymaking and German pours in a dual celebration of fine beers and the festive season to come. Hong Kong’s leading Oktoberfest event, formerly existing at Tsim Sha Tsui for over a decade, is set for a return after a two-year hiatus to Water World Ocean Park, for three weeks of German fun, food, banter, and drinking.

Open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Oct. 21 through Nov. 6, Hong Kong Oktoberfest will host swarms of tracht-wearing Hong Kongers for a festival hosted by legendary MC Faulein, with nights listening to a live Oompha band, competing in Bratwurst eating and beer stein-holding contests, sipping on German pours, and getting merry!

GRAIN, Oct. 21-22

In a celebration of all food German and all vibes Munich-style, Kennedy Town’s GRAIN is set to host its very own Oktoberfest on Oct. 21-22, fit with a wealth of Gweilo pours, live brands and music, games, and Oktoberfest-inspired dishes.

For HK$490 per person, the two-day festival will take place on Friday from 7 PM and Saturday from 5 PM. Beer Festival at Tong Chong Street Market x KIN Food Halls, Oct. 20-22
