Island Shangri-La Partners with Chopard for Festive Swiss Chalet Tea

This holiday season, the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong joins hands with legendary Swiss luxury accessory and watch brand, Chopard, to bring you an imaginative Winter Wonderland set in the high alps of Switzerland.

At the centre of it all are the alluring Swiss Chalets with their unmistakable log-cabin charm, lined up in a cosy lane to welcome guests inside for a warm afternoon tea set for two. Embellished with festive wreaths and Christmas decorations, the candlelit chalets are the best place to wind down for an afternoon, or dine during the evenings.

Curated by Chef Uwe Opocensky, the Chopard Festive afternoon tea is plated on the Maison’s signature crockery, including the sugar pot, teacups, and plates to bring the gastronomy of the Lobby Lounge into the cabin. Guests can expect a gorgeously adorned heart-shaped pin tray carrying delectable scones to accompany the opulent teas.

In addition, guests experiencing the afternoon tea inside the Swiss Chalet will receive exclusive gifts from Chopard, including a heart shaped pouch or a holiday candle. These gifts are also extended for guests who enjoy the afternoon tea in the Shangri-La Island Lobby Lounge on Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1, 2023.

The Swiss Chalets are not exclusively reserved for tea experiences! Guests may banquet in the Chalet for either lunch or dinner, and nibble on Swiss cheese fondue, Chopard-inspired happy hearts desserts and other festive dishes.

From now until Jan. 20, 2023, head down to join the festive fun from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM daily. The afternoon tea is priced at HK$888 for two at the Lobby Lounge and HK$ 950 for two in the Swiss Chalet.
