Gingerbread for Good 2022 Returns with Celebrity Cast and Yummy Cookies

The star-studded Gingerbread for Good campaign returns for a second year on Nov. 24 at LANDMARK, bringing together 23 Hong Kong celebrity chefs for their distinct takes on Mrs. Claus cookies and Cookies smiles creations.

The festive event is set to fundraise at least HK$600,000 for social enterprise Cookie Smiles’ two beneficiaries, Box of Hope and Vocational Training Council’s Shine Skills Centre, assisting students with disabilities in providing work opportunities and encouraging community engagement.

Gingerbread For Good 2022 will run from Nov. 24 to Jan. 2 2023 at the LANDMARK ATRIUM, stocking a unique line of gingerbread cookies created by the celebrity chefs and culinary experts in the city, including Wil Fang of Cookie DPT, Richard Ekkebus of Amber, Krysztof Czerwinski of Soho House, Dashijie, and Rafa Gil of La Rambla by Catalunya.

“This is our second opportunity to do good in Central and I feel extremely blessed to have support from both LANDMARK and Chefs from all over the F&B sector, to not only work together but also to make a difference in people’s lives,” said Jo Soo-Tang, co-founder or Cookie Smiles.

The social enterprise, led by by Agnes Chin and Jo Soo-Tang, has raised more than HK$500,000 since its inception in the sale of celebrity-made cookies. Sale proceeds from the Gingerbread for Good 2022 pop-up will go towards the charity partners above.
