It's that time of the year again! Known for their rich roe and delicate sweet meat, here are some of the best places to feast this Hairy Crab Season.
Cruise Restaurant & Bar
Cruise Restaurant & Bar at Hyatt Centric has launched its seasonal "Hairy Crab Feed Me!" menu to celebrate the delicate Hairy Crab, featuring iconic dishes such as Hairy Crab Xiao Long Bao, Steamed Male Hairy Crab, and other classics like Steamed Flower Crab with Rice Noodles and Simmered Wagyu Tenderloin, finishing with a Ginger Panna Cotta served with fresh mango and red sugar syrup.
The dinner tasting menu is available only until Nov. 30.

Mott 32
Celebrate the flavors of autumn at Mott 32 with the return of its highly anticipated Hairy Crab Menu. Crafted by Group Executive Chef Lee Man Sing, this menu offers ten ways to enjoy premium Hairy Crab from Yangcheng Lake in Jiangsu.
Highlights include the Drunken Crab Meat Salad, a unique twist on Jiangsu’s classic Drunken Crab dish, and the Hairy Crab Roe Claypot Rice, where sweet crab meat and roe are infused with smoky aromatics from a sizzling claypot. For a pure, unadorned experience, try the Whole Steamed Hairy Crab.
Complete your feast with Mott 32’s exclusive yellow wine pairings for an ideal autumn meal. The Hairy Crab Menu is available until Dec. 15 as both an exclusive set menu and à la carte.

This season, one Michelin-starred The Legacy House at Rosewood Hong Kong celebrates the return of its beloved Hairy Crab Menu, curated by Executive Chef Li Chi-Wai.
The menu showcases classic Cantonese dishes such as Steamed Hairy Crab and Braised Rice with Fish Maw and Hairy Crab Cream, alongside innovative creations like Braised Fish Maw with Crab Paste and Alba White Truffle. For an exclusive experience, try the Braised Green Bean Noodles with Crab Paste, which requires two days' advance order.
Enhance your meal with selected Chinese wines, including Guyuelongshan Long Wen 15-Year or Diao Yu Tai 20-Year. For crab enthusiasts, a special 7-course Hairy Crab Set Menu is also available.

Discover an endless seafood feast with Harbourside Crab Carnival at Regent Hong Kong, running until Nov. 30, showcasing a rotating buffet selection of crab delicacies for both lunch and dinner periods.
Signature dishes include Spider Crab on Ice, Claypot Rice with Crab Meat and Chinese Cured Meat, and Steamed Crab Meat with Egg White, Hua Diao, and Chicken Oil. Other creative offerings include Moutai Fried Crab with Oyster, Ginger, and Spring Onion and Pan-Fried Foie Gras.
Alongside these crab specialties, the buffet also offers Harbourside's classic Asian and Western dishes and live stations, ensuring a diverse and satisfying dining experience.

Sushiyoshi
Two Michelin-starred Chef Hiroki at Suhiyoshi Hong Kong is presenting a 17-course Hairy Crab Omakase menu this season, celebrating premium Taihu hairy crabs.
The Japanese-influenced omakase promises crab creations such as Hairy Crab and Cod Fish Spring Roll—a tempura-inspired dish, Hairy Crab Roe Taro Cake—a kombu-infused taro with crab roe sauce, and Hairy Crab Meat with Chrysanthemum Vinegar Sauce and Caviar. Other seasonal specialties include Ankimo with Pumpkin Paste, blending Hokkaido monkfish liver with sweet pumpkin and daikon, and Kegani with Deep-fried Lotus Root "Bun", served with a savory broth. Fresh sushi selections like Hairy Crab Roe Sushi and Toro and sweet desserts complete this luxurious omakase menu.

Pasta lovers, get ready for a crab-tastic experience! Pici welcomes the season with the return of its popular hairy crab menu across all nine Hong Kong locations, featuring the signature Pici Hairy Crab—a dish that pairs handmade pasta with rich hairy crab and Shaoxing wine. New additions this year include the Crab Melt Roll, Crab Salad, and Ginger Panna Cotta with Brown Sugar Jelly.
Available throughout November, these seasonal dishes can be enjoyed à la carte or added to Pici’s tasting menus for a complete autumn feast.
