Join St James’s Place Sevens-a-Side Football Tournament with Les Ferdinand

This Apr. 28, the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation is hosting its inaugural 7-a-side football tournament to raise funds for small to medium-sized charities in Hong Kong and beyond. The event will be held at the Hong Kong Football Club and is set to feature ten teams competing on the main pitch.

For every dollar raised, St. James's Place will match the amount, doubling the impact of the donations. The tournament will follow 7-a-side rules, with games played straight through without halftime break, lasting 10 minutes each.

In the group stages, there will be two groups of five teams, each playing with a chance to win silverware in the knockout finals, including the Spoon, Bowl, Cup, Plate, and Tournament final. Teams of any mix of genders and ages are welcome.

Participants will also have the chance to compete in a penalty shootout against football legend Les Ferdinand MBE, who remains one of the greatest goal scorers in Premier League history.

Entry to the all-day tournament costs HK$15,000 per team. It includes entry into the tournament, FA referees, HKFC changing and shower facilities, kits for the squad, lunch on the tournament date, team photos with Les Ferdinand, and a two-hours free flow at Sportsman’s bar for celebrations after.
