1. Zuma Thursdays Kickstarting Art Month with Chinese-Inspired Cocktails

Zuma Hong Kong, housed in the Landmark, is twisting their classic Thursday night parties with two special cocktails, food offerings inspired by ancient Chinese poems and art, alongside a banging line-up of DJs and live musicians headed by music director of Zuma Hong Kong, Hallex M.

With music and drinks flowing from 7:30PM onwards, the “Spring Night” theme reimagines Chinese poet Su Shi and his allegories of spring to create sweet spring-time tipples. Zuma also invites Hong Kong calligrapher Clara to create a custom art piece for audiences.

2. Magic Room Celebrates 10 Years Art Basel HK with South African DJ Shimza at Cassio

With the return of Art Basel Hong Kong for the 10th edition in 2023, this weekend brings over international famed DJ Shimza hailing from South Africa to lay down tunes at Hong Kong’s hottest techno night, Magic Room held at Cassio.

In the theme of Hong Kong art and identity, Magic Room will be adorned in neon signs that reflect the vibrancy of Hong Kong streets, matching visuals with the legendary Magic Room team of DJs Leon (FR), Moshi, Milam, Lydia Nadia, and Nino.

3. Spin Sum Presents: Dixon Innervisions Night Two of Art Week in Wan Chai

Located in an eyeshot to the Wan Chai convention centre, hosting both Art Basel and Art Central for the week, German house and techno DJ-producer Dixon is hosting a second night of mixing with Spin Sum in the spacious Pier 1929 atop the Wan Chai Ferry Pier.

Overlooking the Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui in an extended 270-degree view, Dixon is playing an extended set alongside homegrown spinster Ani Phoebe. Rising in the ranks of Berlin’s electronic music scene, Dixon brings the vibes to Hong Kong shores.

Held on the expansive first floor, which saw a weekend of heavy Clockenflap afterparty bashes, DJ-beauty influencer Julie J joins much-loved Mengzy, Subez Yeti, and Uptown Rockers to play.

5. Seoul’s Cakeshop Teams Up with Yeti Out Celebrating Art Week and Joint 10 Years

Seoul’s legendary club Cakeshop is teaming up with music makers and vibe-checkers Yeti Out group to host a joint 10-year anniversary party at The Acra hotel in Wong Chuk Hang, bringing the Korean capital’s best DJs to town.

For the first time in three years, the Yeti x Cakeshop Art Basel Hong Kong art week pop-up club will see DJs M.E.S.H, Manuka Honey and Xing Xing from South Korea come to mix, whilst Hong Kong heroes Arthur Yeti, 106 Mido, Tom Yeti, Subez Yeti, and Fergus will be throwing down beats.

Wrapping up the funky HKwalls festival, seeing Central and Western District lit up with refreshed street mural paintings, HKwalls will host an experiential whisky and art evening with live hip hop DJ sets, whisky cocktails and a street art battle.

Attendees can enjoy various Chivas Blended Scotch whiskies and cocktails mixed by top Hong Kong mixologists, watching two teams with six local and international artists from the festival line-up battle in a live painting battle to create art with the theme of “I Rise, We Rise”.

7. Y2K Invites French Music Maker Adrien Calvet at The Code for Art Week

Funky loving party hosts Y2K will welcome their first international act to Hong Kong, Adrien Calvet from France, to bust down funk, disco house, soul and techno tunes for art-goers after the long week of exhibitions.

Doors open at The Code from 10PM onwards, as Adrien Calvet continues a tour of Asia that has seen him play in Taipei, Seoul and Hong Kong in March. The French DJ is joined by Tógo and Parker.

Sedef Adasi, the newest resident DJ at Panorama Bar in Berlin’s famed Berghain, has landed in Hong Kong and will be hosted by Hong Kong’s Distrikt for the first time. Known for her legendary boiler room set, Sedef has established herself as one of the most exciting DJs in Europe.

In addition to her residency at Munich's Blitz Club, Sedef hosts her own party, HAMAM Nights, which offers playful Y2K energy with wavy selections. Distrikt, which proved itself at a memorable party featuring CEM, will welcome Faxtory as its supporting representative.

Spring at The Quality Goods Club is bringing back a packed – and we mean packed – schedule of DJs and music makers in March, carrying on through Art Week. With DJs taking the helm from 10PM till late, be sure to catch legendary Ivan Sit and Taka spin you into Sunday.

With two decades of experience, the veteran DJ will bring the house tunes all night, with Taka assisting on the disco front.
