1. DJ Chris Luno presents Luno Rises at CARBON

Weekender HK: DJ Chris Luno Plays at CARBON, Plus 9 More Nightlife Events

Famed DJ Chris Luno, popular during the 2020 pandemic lockdowns for his scenic soft-organic and tech house mixes shot for YouTube, is set to make his debut in Hong Kong at CARBON for a dreamy bash mixing genres and local flavours at the SoHo house of fun.

Brought to Hong Kong by nightlife connoisseurs Big Noodle Events, expect organic, progressive, melodic, and tech house tunes pumping. The nine-hour-long music event stretches from early in the night through late in the morning with local Hong Kong mixers AngeliKa, Shanda, and DOMPOON joining Chris on the decks. 2. Taiwanese Rapper OSN (高爾宣) Makes Hong Kong Debut at Space Club

Taiwanese rapper Er-xuan Gao, known as his stage name OSN, is set to land in the city for his first Hong Kong show previewed at Space Club in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong for an exclusive rap event.

OSN brings swag and sentimental lyricism to his live rap performance at Space for a night blending both Mandarin Chinese and English lyrics touching upon love, hardships, and life. Expect the rapper to sing his hit 2019 song “Without You”, which won a nomination for Song of the Year at Taiwan’s 31st Golden Melody Awards, and hits from 2019 studio album, #osnrap

3. Mega Bash AFRO 852 Hosted by The Afroseas at C45

Asia’s leading afrobeats duo Afroseas will host their first dance and rap bash featuring Hong Kong’s favourite rappers and up-and-coming tunists at C45, AFRO 852, supported by Ramzy Global Empire.

With afrobeats and local Cantonese hip hop cementing ground in recent years within Hong Kong club’s and raves, The Afroseas usher in 2023 with more rhythm and rhyme for your ears. Alongside the duo, local rappers JB, Chinky Eyes, Global Natives, Good4tune, and Stargirl will perform. Buy your tickets here.

4. Hong Kong’s Ani Phoebe and Berlin’s Peachonfuse Play at Mihn Club

Sheung Wan’s Mihn Club is back to its merry ways with an invite list for early February packed with international names and local legends. On Feb. 10, local Hong Kong vinyl collective Bad Times Disco, led by Ani Phoebe, returns alongside peachonfuse, a Berlin-based Japanese DJ-producer.

Fusing electronica and electronic music together with wavy tunes, peachonfuse blends her influences from Tokyo’s scene through harder vibes in Berlin. By way of Rio de Janeiro, Ani Phoebe draws on her multi-cultural background to flip vinyl from a multitude of cosmic and otherworldly presences.

5. WM Records & Co Take Residence at Plume Hong Kong for February

Hong Kong-founded WM Records is set to take up a residency at Plume rooftop wine bar for the month of February delivering Chicago house beats to afro-deep vibes atop one of Hong Kong’s sweetest sky-high rooftops.

The Hong Kong and Singapore-based DJ collective specialise in techno, house, acid and beats, continuing a half-decade long presence in Southeast Asia and Greater China, previously spinning at Shanghai’s The Mansion, The Lighthouse in Ho Chi Mihn, Club Mute in Seoul, and Tranceportation in Yangon.

6. Lewloh’s Concert at Soho House in Asia-wide The Planting Seeds Tour

Singer-songwriter Lewis Loh arrives back in his home city of Hong Kong for his first international concert under The Planting Seeds tour, joining music together with conversations about growth, energy and love. He is joined at Soho House’s studio with i_is_one and Kiri T for opening acts and Dolorian and Milam for post-show DJ performances.

The born-and-raised Hong Konger returns to his home city from his base in Singapore on a final pitstop on his first international concert tour that has brought him to perform in Singapore in October 2022, Seoul and Manila in November, Kuala Lumpur in December, and Taipei in January this year. 7. Valentine’s Day Cocktails at Island Shangri-La's Lobster Bar and Grill

During this week of love, Island Shangri-La kicks off their collection of dreamy dining and drinks experience housed in the hotel for “Love on a Plate” with a weekend sipping of three Valentine’s Day special cocktails to enjoy with loved ones.

All priced at HK$148, the Heart Beet draws on caffeine with a stiff mix of whiskey, Drambuie, coffee liqueur, Valentine syrup and espresso. The Gentleman introduces aphrodisiac flavours with Casamigos mezcal, sweet Vermouth, banana and chocolate liqueur, with chocolate bitters to end it. DJ Mag World Top 100 ranked DJ Diego Miranda is set for his first exclusive show in Hong Kong for an eight-hour set at Department and Co. in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong to warm you up on our cool February weekend night.

Hailing from Portugal, the mixer has performed at the likes of Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami and Brazil, Hi Ibiza, and Ushuaia, landing in Hong Kong to bring the house down in one of the city’s home for big room, techno, and EDM.

10. Magnetic Soul Drum n Bass Crew Return to OMA

The electric crew behind drum and bass masterminds are Magnetic Soul set for their first 2023 show at their verifiable home of hidden OMA club in Central for a thumping seven-hour-long night of dutty tunes and shape-making on the dancefloor.

The true Magnetic Soul crew will be making a long-awaited appearance after a two-month break over Christmas and Chinese New Year, alongside Bloody Dunza, DJ Lovely, M-Theory, Gokil System, with vocals by Kutoff and hosted by MC Dan Stezo. Tickets are to be purchased on the door.
