Maison Hennessy Celebrates 2023 Lunar New Year of the Rabbit

Maison Hennessy is celebrating the Lunar New Year with the help of Chinese artist Yan Pei-Ming, who has created a painting entitled La Grande Course as a tribute to the entire zoo of the zodiac. This artwork will be accompanied by limited editions of Hennessy VSOP, Hennessy XO, and Hennessy Paradis Cognacs, featuring elements of the painting on it’s packaging.

"When you hold a bottle of cognac up to sunlight, its hues and transparency vary so much. I wanted to portray cognac — but it's light that is really the colour of this painting" explains Yan.

The rarest offer, a one-litre Hennessy Paradis carafe, has been produced in a limited edition of only 888 pieces, an auspicious number according to Chinese beliefs. The bottles were hand painted and produced by French porcelain maker Maison Bernardaud in Limoges, France.

This marks the first time Maison Hennessy has collaborated with Yan Pei-Ming, who moved to France at a young age and graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Dijon.
