Malaysian Omakase Eat and Cook, SG's Path Collab to Serve 8-Course Dinner
Malaysia and Singapore have a great deal of shared culture and historical origins. To celebrate this, three renowned chefs are set to join hands in a collaboration dinner titled “6 Hands Collaboration,” which will take place in both countries.
The chefs who will be whipping up the specially curated dinner are Chefs Lee Zhe Xi and Soh Yong Zhi, owners of Malaysian omakase restaurant Eat and Cook, as well as Path Singapore’s head chef Marvas Ng. The eight-course dinner will take place from Aug. 7-8 at Path Restaurant and from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 in Kuala Lumpur.
“6 Hands Collaboration” will also celebrate Singapore’s celebration of National Day 2023, which commemorates the Lion City’s independence from Malaysia in 1965. The dishes to be presented embody the two countries’ Chinese food heritage as well as “friendship, kinship, and a deep sense of national pride.” This will include Canapés, Oita Farmed Himachi, Maine Lobster, Penang Oyster, and Turbot Roulade, among others.
Reservations are now open for the dinner in Singapore via SevenRooms’ website, for as low as S$258++. Eat and Cook will also host the dinner in Malaysia with Ng as guest chef, worth RM650 ++ per person.
