Beloved Malaysian Cosmetics Brand BeauTyra Waves Goodbye to Patrons

BeauTyra, Malaysia’s well-loved local beauty brand that champions inclusivity and diversity, is saying goodbye to its supporters. The brand’s owner, beauty influencer Tyra Kamaruzzaman, announced that BeauTyra will no longer be selling its signature makeup products in a heartfelt social media post.

The label’s founder did not disclose a particular reason for the cessation but shared that the company will be embarking on a “transformative journey.” She also looked back on how BeauTyra inspired many and sparked joy among women all over the country.

“Our beaubabies, our beauangels, the heart and soul of our brand, have inspired us to push boundaries and challenge conventions. It is with a [heavy heart] that we bid farewell to the makeup & products that defined yourselves and your life in a way. The OGs, the limited editions, the mists, the lipsticks, the blushers...” the post read.

The brand’s patrons soon flocked to the announcement to show their disappointment over the news. However, Tyra affirmed that this will not be the end for BeauTyra but the start of a “new chapter of beauty.”

Ahead of the closure, BeauTyra is holding an “End of an Era” sale, where customers can purchase any of the label’s products for only RM15 each. These are available on BeauTyra’s website, as well as on the brand’s Shopee and TikTok pages.

BeauTyra was launched in 2018 and has since become a cult-favourite among Malaysian beauty enthusiasts for its high-quality products that range from lippies and blushers to perfumes.
