Feel like you’re missing all the fun? There’s no need to feel FOMO as the long-running Northern Music Festival (NMF) will host its final stage in the north before changing to a new and bigger yet-to-be-announced venue. If you would like to support local independent bands, NMF Asia 2023 is the right place to watch them showcase their music and talents. Here’s what you need to know!
When and Where’s the Venue?
NMF Music Festival 2023 will take place on March 18 (Saturday) at Auto-City near the North-South Juru Interchange in Penang. It’s big enough to host two stages — the NMF main stage and the Run for Cover Fest stage — for the event.

The venue also has nearby establishments, such as ATMs, convenience stores, and restaurants, so you can freshen up in between sets and withdraw money if needed.

Who’s Part of the Lineup?
The main NMF stage (outdoor) will have local acts Talitha., Patriots, No Good, Sick, Tres Empre, May of Scarlet, Rina-Hime, Pasca Sini, Judos, An Honest Mistake, and Joyberry from 11 AM to 7:30 PM followed by the main acts Bunkface, The Times, Midnight Fusic, and Sweatass from 8 PM ‘til almost midnight.
For the Run For Cover Fest Vol. 5 stage (indoor), the local bands below will be performing song covers of internationally known bands and their originals.
