University of Macau to Launch Six Master’s Degree Programmes in AY 2023-24

The University of Macau (UM) announced through a press release that they’ll be launching six new master’s degree programmes in the academic year 2023/2024.

These programmes aim to “nurture more high-quality professionals” who will support the development of the city’s emerging industries and assist in its economic transformation.

According to the release, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) will be offering three programmes: Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Master of Science in Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and Master of Science in Coastal Environment and Safety.

The Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering (IAPME) will be offering Master of Science in Innovative Materials, while the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences will be offering Master of Science in Medicinal Administration.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) will be offering Master of Arts in Philosophy.

The University of Macau is an international public comprehensive university that uses English as the main medium of instruction. It ranked in the 304th spot in the 2023 QS World University Rankings with an overall score of 34.9.
