Savor the Symphony with 2024 MGM Chef Nic Gastronomusic Fest!

Get ready for a sizzling celebration! Mark your calendars for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2024, from 5 PM to 10 PM, as MGM COTAI hosts the third edition of the MGM Chef Nic Gastronomusic Fest.

Partnering with celebrity chef and singer Nicholas Tse, the event promises an electrifying mix of mouthwatering cuisine and star-studded performances and is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience.

Set on the 1/F Roof Terrace of MGM COTAI, this five-hour outdoor extravaganza will feature ten incredible acts, led by Nicholas Tse himself. Joining him on stage are top Hong Kong artists, the iconic Korean multi-talent Jessica Jung, and Thailand’s beloved band SCRUBB, famous for their hit OST songs. Other performers to grace the scene are Jeffrey Ngai, Alex Fong, Cloud Wan, and more.

But that’s not all — the culinary lineup is just as dazzling. Nicholas Tse’s Chef Nic Team is teaming up with MGM’s elite chefs and notable Southeast Asian eateries like Singapore’s Keng Eng Kee (KEK), serving their signature Chili Crab, and Thailand’s After You Dessert Café, bringing their irresistible Shibuya Honey Toast. Together, they’ll create an exclusive menu of delectable delights available only during the fest.

At Lakeview Palace, Chef Zhu masterfully combines Huaiyang and Cantonese cuisines, showcasing the intricate knife skills of Huaiyang cuisine alongside the fresh, delectable seafood of Cantonese fare.

Diners can savor these culinary delights while enjoying the peaceful ambiance and stunning views of Performance Lake through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

Another highlight is the Double-boiled Jinling Style Duck Soup. Chef Zhu uses Qingyuan Blue-headed Duck, combining the rich flavors of Nanjing’s traditional stewed duck with the tenderness of roasted duck to create a comforting and authentic taste of his hometown.

For a more indulgent option, try the Braised Wagyu Beef with Crispy Skin and Finger Lime. This dish draws inspiration from Jiangnan's tradition of slow-cooked veal, featuring A3 Wagyu beef that's slow-cooked, then quickly fried to create a crispy texture, served with a homemade sauce made from over 10 types of vegetables.

Foodies Unite for the 24th Edition of the Macau Food Festival!

Mark your calendars! The 24th Macau Food Festival is kicking off on Oct. 15, 2024, running until Dec. 1, 2024 at the picturesque Sai Van Lake Square, located just below the Macau Tower.

The annual event attracts food enthusiasts from all over the globe, with last year’s edition boasting over 140 food stalls, with 120 of them showcasing local food businesses.

Organized by the United Association of Food and Beverage Merchants of Macau, along with various local culinary groups, this festival is a fantastic platform for small and medium-sized eateries to showcase their delicious offerings. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, you’ll find plenty to savor!

Five Acclaimed Chefs Come Together for Michelin Star Table Macau 2024

An exquisite dining experience is coming once again to Macau. Michelin Star Table Macau has announced its 2024 edition, featuring five Michelin-recognized chefs from in and out of the city.

In partnership with SJM Resorts, Michelin Star Table Macau 2024 will present two exclusive gastronomic programs helmed by a curated lineup of chefs.

The program will begin with an Italian Cuisine Series, to be held on Oct. 18 and 19 at the Don Alfonso 1890 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. It will feature Chef Federico Pucci of Michelin-selected restaurant Don Alfonso 1890 in Macau, Chef Ernesto Iaccarino of one Michelin-starred restaurant Don Alfonso 1890 San Barbato in Italy, and Chef Andrea Migliaccio of two Michelin-starred restaurant L'Olivo in Italy.

The Italian Cuisine Series will also feature a five-course lunch and six-course dinner menu, priced at MOP1,288+ and MOP2,288+ per person, respectively. Meanwhile, the second leg of the program will be a French Cuisine Series, featuring Chef Julien Tongourian of three Michelin-starred restaurant Robuchon au Dôme in Macau and Chef Jérôme Banctel of three Michelin-starred restaurant Le Gabriel - La Réserve Paris in France.

This series will be held at the Robuchon au Dôme in Grand Lisboa Macau from Nov. 2 to 3. As of this writing, more details on the French Cuisine series are yet to be unveiled. To stay tuned for the booking link, visit Michelin Guide’s website.
