PATA Annual Summit 2024 in Macau to Highlight Regional Tourism

After its successful run in Nepal earlier this year, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is coming to Macau in 2024, the organisation announced in a press release

To be held on May 15-17, 2024, at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, the summit will be hosted by the Macau Government Tourism Office. According to the announcement, the event will bring forth conversations about uplifting tourism in the Asia-Pacific region.

The summit will be composed of different segments, including breakout sessions, board meetings, plenary sessions, and an annual general meeting among PATA’s members and partners from private and public sectors.

Moreover, youth members and PATA chapters will also delve into the challenges and opportunities that the region is facing in terms of tourism.

“It is an honor for Macao to host the PATA Annual Summit 2024. PATA holds a special place in the heart of our tourism industry, and we are happy to once again be granted the opportunity to welcome delegates from near and far to meet in our city,” said Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the Macau Government Tourism Office, in the press statement.

This marks the first time Macau will host the summit since the pandemic. The office also aims to showcase Macau’s most wonderful travel destinations to delegates from different countries.
