Over 10,000 Kids in Taguig City Vaccinated Against COVID-19 Since August

More than 10,000 children aged five to17 years old in Taguig City have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as face-to-face classes return, according to the Taguig local government on Sunday via Facebook.

The vaccination drive, School Tour: One-Stop Shop Bakuna, was carried out in various schools in the city under the Department of Health's (DOH) PinasLakas Immunization Campaign since Aug. 15, visiting 23 elementary and high schools so far and inoculating thousands with their first dose, second dose, and first and second boosters.

The local government will continue to visit more schools in Taguig to inoculate students and education frontliners like teachers and non-teaching personnel.

Meanwhile, eligible Taguig residents and even non-residents can get their COVID-19 vaccination in the city's vaccination hubs at Lakeshore Vaccine Information Center, Venice Grand Canal Mall, and Bonifacio High Street from Monday to Friday. Those who are eligible may also go to any barangay center for their jab every Monday, Tuesday, or Friday.

A total of 2,124,944 vaccinations have been administered by the city as of Oct. 28, the local government said.
