PH Concert Guide: 5 Music Events to Attend This 2022

Music fans are in for a treat! As the Philippines shifts to the new normal, live concerts amped up again to bring in some of the much-awaited local and international shows in the country.

Whether small or major outdoor events, we’ve seen strong ticket demands for shows that have been postponed or canceled earlier this year. As the situation eases off, more artists and musicians are making a comeback to perform live in Manila including The Maine, Boys Like Girls, Avril Lavigne, and more.

Get ready to rock and jam to international artists and local acts you’ve been dreaming of seeing perform live after two years of hiatus! Just a friendly reminder to always observe minimum health protocols while you share good vibes with the crowd.

Here’s a list of the updated concert schedule to add to your calendar this 2022.

Castaway Music Festival – April 23

Complete your summer party this year as the Castaway Music Festival returns this April 23. Happening at the Amphitheater in SM Pampanga, concertgoers will be serenaded by Silent Sanctuary, Hale, and Meg Fernandez live!

The Maine – Aug. 27

After almost three years, the American rock band The Maine will be back in the Philippines this Aug. 27 at the Skydome, SM City North EDSA.

Dubbed as the “Arizona emo group”, The Maine will celebrate their 15th anniversary this year along with the release of their 8th studio album entitled “XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time” in 2021. The band will perform their new song “Sticky” and a collaboration song with Taking Back Sunday and Charlotte Sands called “Loved You A Little.”

All concert tickets are inclusive of a meet and greet with the band. Price ranges from P2,500 to P4,500. Tickets will be available starting May 1.
