GInvest Rolls Out First Fund With Dividends; Minimum Initial Investment at P1,000

GInvest, the investment platform of mobile wallet and digital payments company GCash, rolled out two more products that users can invest in.

The ALFM Global Multi-Asset Income Fund and the Philippine Stock Index Fund has been live on the GCash app since Dec. 6.

According to GInvest, the Global Multi-Asset Income Fund “aims to provide a stable stream of dividends and generate long-term capital growth” by investing “90% of its assets into a single collective scheme.”

This fund is the first and only dividend-paying fund by GInvest. But instead of cash payments, owners will receive additional units of the fund to be automatically reinvested in their investment balance. This dividend payout follows a monthly schedule and is not guaranteed and largely based on the fund’s performance. The minimum investment for this fund is P1,000.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Stock Index Fund tracks the performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite index (PSEi), which consists of companies such as Ayala Corp., Ayala Land, Aboitiz Power, Robinsons Retail Holdings, and BDO Unibank, among others. The minimum investment for this fund is P50.
