Fete de la Musique 2022 to Showcase Live Concerts for 1st Time Since Pandemic

After a two-year hiatus, Fete de la Musique is back with live performances featuring cross-cultural collaborations between local and French artists.

Dubbed as “Tara Allez,” this year’s Fete de la Musique will be held in Metro Manila, Palawan, Baguio, Cebu, and Siargao. The event will kick off on June 21 at Santa Fe Beach Front Playground in Siargao. Pocket stages will be available in Poblacion, Makati on June 24, while the main stage will be set up at Puerta Real Gardens in Intramuros, Manila the following day (June 25) to coincide with the Cebu stage at Draft Punk. The festival will then head to the second Cebu stage at La Vie, as well as simultaneous stages in El Nido, Palawan, and Baguio on June 26. The final stretch will be held at El Nido’s Kalye Artisano on June 28.

The line-up of performers includes Cheats, The Itchyworms, Lola Amour, and Anima Tierra. There will be a special number by Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas featuring Curtismith, Toni B., Faye Yupano & Zsaris, Basically Saturday Night, Johnny Alegre, Ean Mayor of Up Dharma Down, Coffeebreak Island with Bing Austria and Tuesday Vargas, Tropical Depression Apartel, Mulan, and Samantha Nicole. French artists Marc Fichel, DJ Blutch, and Maxime Cozic will also fly from Paris to perform around the country.

Fete de la Musique – Philippines 2022 is presented by Alliance Française de Manille, in partnership with the Embassy of France to the Philippines and B Side Productions, and co-organized by the Department of Tourism. This year’s event coincides with the 75th anniversary of bilateral Franco-Philippine relations. Entrance to the concerts is free.
