Filipinos in Scotland will finally have a taste of home with the opening of two Jollibee branches in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Located at 136 Princes Street, the Edinburgh outlet opened on Feb. 24. The second branch in Glasgow will kickstart operations on March 25.

Aside from Jollibee’s signature items such as Chickenjoy, Yumburger, and Jolly Spaghetti, the two branches will serve halal meat and products relevant to the local palate.

“We are looking forward to serving our Scottish customer’s delicious food in a joyful restaurant experience. We know there are many in Scotland who have waited a long time for Jollibee to arrive and we’re excited to see the local communities experience Jollibee for the first time,” said Jollibee Foods Corp. CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong in a media release.

The Filipino fast food giant opened its first branch in the United Kingdom in 2018. Last February 2021, Jollibee revealed its target to open 50 stores across Europe by 2025.
