Listen Up: National Museum of the Philippines is Looking for Volunteers

The National Museum is opening its doors to volunteers who want to assist in the organization’s various activities.

Announced on May 18, the Museum Volunteer Program is open to “individuals interested in different museum-related disciplines, to assist in our various activities and learn from the experience of working with museum collections, exhibitions, and facilities.”

Applicants may send their letter of intent with attached CV to [email protected], or call Francine España at 8298-1100 local 1032 for further inquiries.

The program is part of the celebration of the International Museum Day on May 18. The National Museum, which reopened in October 2021, has also extended its operating hours to accommodate more visitors. Admission remains free. You do not have to reserve a slot prior to your visit, unless you are coming in groups of 20 to 30 persons. Visitors are required to show their proof of vaccination.
