San Miguel Corporation Waives Toll Fees on Christmas and New Year

San Miguel Corporation (SMC) announced on Thursday, Dec. 22, that it's waiving all toll fees in major expressways including STAR, NAIAX, SLEX, and TLPE for the holidays.

Toll-free travel will be enjoyed by motorists from 10 PM of Dec. 24 to 6 AM of Dec. 25, and 10 PM of Dec. 31 to 6 AM of Jan. 1, 2023.

SMC said it will deploy additional traffic personnel to maintain public order and safety. However, the toll operator advised the public to allot more time for travel to avoid lengthy delays.

Meanwhile, NLEX Corporation said it’s ramping up its safety measures as part of its “Safe Trip Mo Sagot Ko” assistance program.

More than 1,000 security marshals and toll lane crews will be fielded along NLEX. Emergency medical response teams will also be deployed to strategic areas.
