Undeniably, Pinoy pop sensation SB19 – consisting of members Justin, Stell, Pablo, Josh, and Ken – has greatly influenced mainstream music in the Philippines. The quintet made history by becoming the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to receive a nomination for the Billboard Music Awards 2021. The boys were also nominated in the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Southeast Asian Act in 2021.

A recent vlog uploaded by South Korean YouTuber and model, Jessica Lee, featured SB19 members talking about Mang Inasal's famous unlimited rice offer.

The viral clip showed the group’s main vocalist, Stell, sharing his experience of eating 16 cups of rice in one sitting at the said local fast food chain. Fans were quick to make #KaninPaMoreStell trend on Twitter, with more than 36,000 tweets as of writing.

Many Filipinos can relate to Stell because why not? Rice-based recipes are one of our favorites!

However, the question is: how many calories are there in a cup of rice and how many hours of exercise are needed to burn it off? According to data from the U.S Department of Agriculture, one cup of cooked white rice weighs 186 grams and contains 242 calories and 53.5 kilos of carbs. Only a small portion of it is made from fiber, with the majority made from starch and sugar. Hence, Stell’s 16 cups of rice consist of 3,872 calories.
