It’s official! Apple revealed its newest iPhone 14 series on Sept. 7, featuring four variants namely the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The tech giant also introduced new Apple watches (Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch SE), as well as AirPods Pro.
The iPhone 14 lineup is designed with a ceramic shield for extra durability, a glanceable lock screen, crash detection, Emergency SOS via satellite, a 48-megapixel main camera (up to 4x resolution), an A16 Bionic chip, and improved battery life. It comes in four colors, including Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black.
At present, iPhone 14 units aren’t available in the country. Pre-orders in the United States began on Sept. 9 with a delivery date of Oct. 7. For reference, the iPhone 13 series went on sale for first-wave countries on Sept. 24, 2021. After one month of waiting, the units were made available in the Philippines on Oct. 22.
If you’re planning to upgrade or switch to one of the latest iPhone handsets, here’s a quick price and specs comparison to know which model—the standard, the Plus, the Pro, or the Pro Max—is best for you.
The iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus do not differ greatly from one another, except for their display sizes. Similar to iPhone 13, the display size of the iPhone 14 is 6.1 inches. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Plus is significantly larger, with a screen measuring 6.7 inches.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max upgraded the traditional notch to a new pill-shaped cutout for the Face ID sensors and the front-facing camera. Just like the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, the display sizes of the Pro and Pro Max measure 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.

Apple also introduced the Watch Series 8 with an improved in-class health feature, which has temperature sensors and Crash Detection for severe car accidents.
The new Apple watches are built perfectly for athletes as they were designed with a large, Always-On Retina display and a front crystal that is more resistant to cracking. Other features include 18-hour battery life, fall detection, retrospective ovulation estimates, international roaming, high and low heart rate notifications, ECG app, Workout app, and the all-new Medications app.

Apple Watch SE: Starts at P15,990

The second-generation AirPods Pro is built with upgraded Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode for a more immersive spatial audio experience. It is designed with a low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier for better bass and crystal-clear audio.
It has a powerful H2 chip inside for noise cancellation, so it muffles out loud outdoor noise — like car horns, construction equipment, or even concert speakers.
For a more sustainable listening experience, AirPods Pro are made with 100% recycled rare earth elements in its magnets, plating, and charging case.
