They can be worn two ways, with its convertible heel up for speed or down for recovery. The shoes are machine washable and come in a variety of unisex colorways.
Jennifer Nierva loves the one in pink and cloud blue. “I just love how convenient the Slipspeed Megas are,” she shared. “It saves me so much time going to training, leaving practice, going to events, going home. It’s so, so comfortable too, which is what I look for in everyday shoes.”

Loro Piana x New Balance 990v6
Those looking for laidback luxury can look no further than at the Loro Piana x New Balance collaboration. These exclusive sneakers, called the 990v6, are set to release this September 2024. They are made with choice materials, reflecting Loro Piana’s dedication to quality and New Balance’s street-style aesthetic.
Complementing its stylish silhouette are tonal mesh panels and a unique ENCAP midsole technology, making the shoes a perfect marriage of style and comfort. But fans need to hurry up! Only 1,000 pairs of these shoes are set to go on sale once it drops.

Lakat x Nazareno/Lichauco
Local shoe brand, Lakat, has recently released an August collaboration with “powerhouse design duo” Rita Nazareno and Gabriel Lichauco of Nazareno/Lichauco (N/L). The new sneakers, which debuted at the Artefino Fair just last month, are inspired by the concept of utilitarianism.
“When one thinks utilitarian, it is about [being] practical or useful,” shared the N/L duo. “In philosophy, utilitarianism is a concept that prescribes actions to maximize happiness and well-being.”
Coming in colors such as green, red, and white, the Lakat x N/L sneakers feature fun color-blocking colorways, as well as dynamic shapes using azo-free dyes on Philippine tropical fibers. Sustainable and stylish, it is the perfect accompaniment to your next camping trip or nature getaway.
