Satisfy Your Travel Cravings With These Hidden Falls in the Philippines

It's no surprise that the Philippines is surrounded by natural beauties. With its gorgeous scenery, native fauna, and incredible waterfalls, the country has become one of the most exciting places to explore and discover for nature lovers.

Wishing you a great adventure as we introduce the Philippines' underrated but breathtaking waterfalls.

Nadsadjan Falls – Iloilo

Nadsadjan Falls is a famous attraction in Igbaras in the province of Iloilo featuring “cool and fresh Prussians blue waters.” It measures 100 feet in height with water flowing into a cauldron-shaped swimming area.

Located in Barangay Passi, the town is filled with recreational outdoor activities and attractions suitable for people of all ages and interests.

For first-time travelers, we recommend travelling earlier to avoid the scorching heat while commuting via motorcycle to reach Nadsadjan Falls. In case you need help with transportation, you may contact the tourism office or local government before your trip. Since there are no local restaurants or food vendors, bringing your own food and water is permitted.

Alalum Falls – Bukidnon

Locals say the term "alalum" was derived from the Lumad-Binukid word "madalum," which translates to "deep" in English. This 148-foot hidden waterfall in the Philippines is nestled between the provinces of Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, and Malaybalay, Bukidnon..

Surrounded by beautiful greenery, it is located between the municipalities of Impasug-ong and Sumilao along the main highway. Visitors can enjoy the chilly water that flows from the natural spring of Kitangland Mountain Range and streams through the Tagoloan River.

Alalum Falls also offers an overlooking view deck where nature lovers can take pleasure in the beauty of Bukidnon from above.

Lambingan Falls and Mablaran Falls – Romblon

Mablaran Falls is a local favorite in Tablas Island in Romblon because it makes a perfect hangout spot for families to enjoy quality time while cooking barbecue. If you’ve already visited Mablaran Falls, you should not miss its main attraction – the rope swing.

There are two Lambingan Falls in the country. One in Agusan Del Norte and another one in Sibuyan, Romblon, so don’t get them mixed up.

Situated in the municipality of Magdiwang, this waterfall boasts a series of natural pools with clear water from the mountains. It is also an ideal spot for those who seek adventure while enjoying a perfect picnic day in the woods.

Cambais Falls – Alegria, Cebu

One of the most hidden and underrated waterfalls in the Philippines is the Cambais Falls in Alegria, Cebu. You may visit this secluded destination if you want to beat the crowd and enjoy a quiet ambiance.

This waterfall will appeal to thrill seekers because it has two separate tiers. Filled with azure blue water, the Cambais Falls has seven- and ten-meter tiers where visitors may perform a solid cliff jump.
