From colorful stage visuals to amazing crowd energy, K-Pop concerts and fan meetings are very popular among Filipinos as they get to enjoy doing synchronized fanchants that envelop every venue, making them arguably the “loudest” fans in the world.

To ring in the second half of the year, South Korean music and entertainment continue to organize meet-and-greet concerts and world tours in and out of the country. Here are some K-Pop concerts and events in Manila happening this August and September that you should not miss!



Cha Eun-woo – Aug. 6

Aside from being an actor, Cha Eun-woo is also a member of the South Korean boy group ASTRO. He starred in “My Romantic Recipe,” “My ID is Gangnam Beauty,” and “True Beauty,” among others.

On Aug. 6, Eun-woo will visit Manila for his “2022 Just One 10 Minute Starry Caravan” fan meeting at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Pre-selling of tickets started last July 2 at Gateway Cineplex Lobby, while the official sale began July 3 via TicketNet.. Ticket prices range from P2,500 to P9,500. Visit DNM Entertainment for more information.

Super Junior – Aug. 6

Debuted in 2005, Super Junior is considered one of the veteran groups in the K-Pop industry, thanks to their electro-R&B and soft pop music.

This August, the group will be returning to the Philippines to perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for their “Super Show 9” world tour. Get ready to witness them sing their hit songs “Sorry, Sorry,” “Mr. Simple,” “Lo Siento,” and more.

Hwang In-Youp – Aug. 20

Hwang In-Youp (also spelled as Hwang In-Yeop) will hold his “1st Asian Fan Meeting Tour” in Manila on Aug. 20 at the New Frontier Theatre.

In-Youp is a Korean actor known for his breakthrough role as Han Seo-joon in the Netflix Korean series, “True Beauty.” He is also the lead actor in the web series “Why,” “The Sound of Magic,” and the television drama “Why Her.”

Aside from Manila, the Korean actor will also meet his fans in Bangkok, Indonesia, and Singapore.

B.I – Aug. 27

South Korean rapper B.I (or Kim Han-bin in real life) will be returning to the Philippines this Aug. 27.

“B.I Offline” is the rapper’s first fan meeting in Manila happening at the New Frontier Theatre. He is the group leader of K-Pop boy band iKon and started his solo career in 2021. He has since released songs such as “Midnight Blue,” “illa illa,” “NINETEEN,” “Remember me,” “Waterfall,” “Cosmos,” and more.

Tickets pre-sale started last July 2 at Monet 3 in Novotel Araneta Center. Tickets are up for grabs online and via all TicketNet outlets.

All ticket holders will be given an official tour poster, while purchasers of VIP and SVIP tickets will enjoy more fan benefits including souvenir cards, guaranteed hi-touch, photo-op, and more.

Before heading to the Philippines, B.I will also have his fan meeting in Singapore on Aug. 7.

(G)I-dle – Sept. 11

Calling all Filipino NEVERLANDs! Get your Neverbongs ready as South Korean girl group (G)-Idle will hold their first-ever concert in Manila on Sept. 11.

The “Just Me World Tour” will have its second stop in Manila after their two-day concert in Seoul. Other cities included in the tour are Singapore, Jakarta, and Tokyo. The quintet is expected to visit the United States and Mexico as well.

The group debuted in 2018 and is known for hit songs “Tomboy,” “My Bag,” “Pop/Stars,” “More,” and “The Baddest.”

Other upcoming concerts and events in Manila this August 2022 are the following:

  • All Time Low – Aug. 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena
  • The Maine – Aug. 27 at SM North EDSA Skydome
