Halloween Costume Parade

Philippine Butoh Online Workshop Series 2021 

Presented by The Japan Foundation, Manila and Kapwa Movement Project, the first Butoh workshop series in the Philippines is scheduled on Oct 8. to Dec. 10 via Zoom.

The workshop series aims to reintroduce the Japanese Butoh dance in the country inspired by the “context of Philippine indigenous wisdom and ritualistic practices.”

The event will be joined by six international Japanese Butoh artists from Japan, Germany, and Italy who will share their artistic experiences and practices. Whether you’re a newbie or a veteran theater performer, everyone is welcome to participate regardless of age, gender, religion, or race.

Local participants from the Philippines can join the workshop for FREE while international participants are encouraged to make donations instead.

Wicked Halloween Party

Another spooktacular party you can attend this Halloween in the Philippines is hosted by Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan in Cebu. The virtual event is set on Oct. 30, with participants expected to wear their most “fa-boo-lous” costumes and makeup.
