WHAT'S ON

Support Filipino Creativity at This Year’s MaArte Fair at The Pen

The MaArte Fair is making its biggest comeback this week as over 100 artists and artisans will showcase their creativity at The Peninsula Manila on Aug. 4 to 6, from 10 AM to 8 PM. With the theme "In Full Bloom," this year’s fair is a fundraising initiative by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI) that aims to support local artists and celebrate Filipino craftsmanship.

"At the end of the day, we would like to remind everyone that MaArte Fair is a fundraiser, and every purchase you make not only helps the artist you’re buying from but the community as a whole—because a portion of the profit goes into helping us fund our initiatives that are geared towards the preservation of our identity as a nation," explained MFPI President Danny Jacinto.
