Six PH Companies Recognized on TIME's Best Companies List for 2023

In collaboration with Statista, TIME has unveiled its highly anticipated World's Best Companies of 2023. With an impressive pool of 750 companies worldwide vying for a spot, six notable Philippine companies have successfully secured their positions on the prestigious list.

TIME's evaluation process employs a comprehensive formula encompassing revenue growth, employee-satisfaction surveys, and environmental, social, and corporate governance data. This meticulous approach has allowed the identification of companies that consistently exhibit robust financial performance and prioritize employee satisfaction.

Among the six Philippine-based companies on the list, Ayala Corporation claims the highest ranking at 309, closely followed by San Miguel Corporation at 347. Jollibee Foods Corporation secures the 421st position, while Telco and digital powerhouse PLDT attains the 609th spot. Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company secures the 634th place, and BDO Unibank wraps up the Filipino representation at 647.

Further bolstering Ayala Corporation's international recognition, its subsidiary, Ayala Land Inc., marked a significant milestone with the appointment of its first-ever female CEO—an achievement held in high regard by TIME and Statista, which value gender diversity in board appointments.
