MedCerts Not Required for Employees Returning to Work After COVID-19 Isolation: MoM

Employees returning from work after they tested positive from COVID-19 are not required to provide a medical certificate to their employers and human resource departments, according to Manpower Minister Tan See Leng on Feb. 22.

Minister Leng urged companies to not demand medical and recovery clearance to employees as the hospitals are already overwhelmed with the alarming number of COVID-19 patients in Singapore.

Employees who continue to experience related concerns in their workplace may ask assistance from the Ministry of Manpower.
