This One Michelin Star Ramen Restaurant From Tokyo Is Now in Singapore

Another Michelin-starred restaurant has opened its doors in Singapore! This time, it’s one Michelin star Nakiryu Ramen from Tokyo. Located at Plaza Singapura, this marks the restaurant’s first branch outside Japan.

Chef Kazamusa Saito founded Nakiryu Ramen, which is known for their signature Tan Tan Men (S$15.90) and Shoyu Ramen (S$14.90). They got their Michelin star in 2017 and have retained it since, showing that they’re consistent with their delicious broth-rich recipe that customers love. Their recipe got extremely popular that even instant noodle giant Nissin released it in cup noodle form.

Other items on the menu are Shio Ramen (S$14.90), Prawn Wonton Cha Shu Ramen (S$18.90), and Hot and Sour Soup Ramen (S$15.90). They also offer rice meals and sides, such as Yodare Dori Rice Set (S$13.90), Salmon Teriyaki Rice Set (S$18.90), Yaki Gyoza (S$7.90), and Fried Chicken (S$7.90).

According to Michelin’s website, there are only three ramen restaurants in Tokyo with a one Michelin star rating: Sosakumenkubo Nakiryu in Minami-Otsuka, Chukasoba Ginza Hachigou in Ginza, and Sobahouse Konjiki Hototogisu in Shinjuku.

Nakiryu Ramen is open daily from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. For more information, you can follow them on Instagram and Facebook.
