Where to Find the Juiciest Burgers in Singapore

Burgers may not be the first thing that comes to mind when talking about Singapore cuisine, but the Lion City offers a myriad of options for your late-night craving for American’s most favorite junk food. While some would argue that the secret is in the grease, burgers of today have been reinvented to lessen the guilt while maintaining the flavors on every bite. From vegan and grass-fed beef to plain and brioche buns, here’s where you can grab the best burgers in Singapore.

Love Handle

This “butcher” uses plant-based patties in their guilt-free burger. Love Handle’s version of the classic Double Cheeseburger is made of Smashed Impossible patty, drizzled with special sauce, flecked with plant-based cheddar, pickles and caramelized onions, and sandwiched between fluffy buns. This S$21 order comes with fries.

Other crowd favourites are Mushroom Swiss (S$19), Pulled Rendang Burger (S$16), and Hot Tindle Burger (S$18). They also sell raw “meats,” which are made of mushrooms, breadcrumbs, and other alternatives to your usual protein sources.

Fatburger

Since coming to Singapore, this burger franchise has been a favourite go-to of those looking for a juicy patty-and-bun combo. Their multiple branches in Singapore have maintained the vibe of an American diner, offering large servings that will surely satiate any meat lover’s cravings. If you’re extra hungry, go for their Quad XXXXL, a stack of four patties topped with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, relish, onions, and pickles. The a la carte version costs S$21.50, but if you want fries and cola, prepare to fork out S$27. Fatburger also welcomes add-ons (cheese, egg, beef bacon, chili, or onion rings) for S$1 each.

They have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, and bacon-cheeseburgers, with options for single or dual patties each. Be sure to order Five Guys’ signature fries, which are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
