When Nations Meet: An Evening of Belgian Music

Prepare for a unique musical journey on March 24 at the Esplanade Concert Hall as the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra, under the distinguished baton of Maestro Robert Casteels, presents "When Nations Meet" – a celebration of Belgian music in all its diversity. This remarkable event, brought to life in partnership with the Embassy of Belgium in Singapore and the Delegation of the European Union to Singapore, promises an evening filled with melodic treasures from Belgium's rich musical heritage.

The concert will unveil the Singapore premiere of "From Ancient Times" by the globally renowned Belgian composer Jan Van der Roost. The evening's highlight includes the eagerly anticipated world premiere of "Symphony nr 6" by Belgium-born Singaporean composer and conductor Robert Casteels. 

Adding to the vibrancy of the event, solo soprano Tanya Sen will grace the stage with her rendition of five Belgian songs, uniquely arranged for this occasion, capturing the essence of Belgium's lyrical beauty.
